Hillcrest and Bailey Medical Centers Partner with iTriage to Provide Mobile Users with Healthcare Access

Tulsa, OK– Feeling sick and wonder if you should go to the doctor? Did your child get injured at their sporting event and you need to find the closest Emergency Room to the field? There’s an app for that.

Hillcrest Medical Center and Bailey Medical Center are the first Tulsa-area hospitals to partner with iTriage, a popular smart phone application that allows consumers access to vital medical information and local medical services from the palm of their hand. The free iTriage app is available on all iPhone®, iPod touch®, iPad™, Palm® and Android™ devices.  All other Web-enabled devices can access iTriage at iTriageHealth.com.

iTriage allows users to search medical symptoms, learn about possible causes and find appropriate and nearby locations for treatment,  including contact information, hours of operation, services provided and even turn-by-turn directions based on the user’s GPS location.

iTriage consumers will have access to the latest symptom checker, a full dictionary of medical terms, images and links to appropriate YouTube videos, all designed to help them find the information they need.

“Hillcrest is proud to partner with a tool that allows today’s mobile society to access medical information and locate medical care as quickly and as easily as possible,” said Jason Fahrlander, Hillcrest Medical Center Chief Executive Officer.
